first system specs.

dell 9300
2.2 intel mobile.
2 gigs dual channel 533 memory
80 gig 5400 spin h/d
7800gtx 256meg pci-x 16 video.
8 meg down 356 up internet.

whenever i load into any area, not just towns. i get this god aweful stuttering with my video. no matter what resolution im running at.

when i hit detect settings it maxes them, i usually turn down shadows and shaders.

ive tried all different types of settings but none of them help.

setting now are:
1920x1200
high
all
high
medium
low
with vertical sync.

this is the best so far but i still stutter at times and its annoying.
keep in mind, no matter what resolution i run at, i get the same fps.

and with vertical sync on my fps gets locked at 30, when my refresh on my lcd is 60. weird.

i can run bf2 and oblivion at these resolutions with 0 lag. just so yall get an idea.

-update-

so far ive done everything short of re-installing windows.

defragged, windows update, several different graphics drivers, contigged gw.dat, deleted and downloaded a new gw.dat, defragged and contigged again, checked for other system related drivers,etc..

nothing helped.

anyone with same problem?

2 x 512 Corsair
Ati x1600 512 PCIE-x16

before NF event all run fine now i get stuttering on every resolution dropping from 60 fps to 20-18 or even 1 sec freeze without any apparent motivation

At first it sounded like a driver problem but seeing as 2 players wioth different video cards experience the same thing that isn';t it.
Try this: Make sure you have the latest version of Direct X installed, uninstall Guild Wars and reinstall it,.

Other than those 2 i am at a loss.

Tryed everithing even OC the Ati run with -mute and -nosound and get any improvements, with OC the fps rise but the stuttering and dropping at 20 is still here and in some zone lathenda's bog for ex. it get worst.
I'm 99% sure this come with the second NF preview event from when i noticed a little stuttering everytime entering e new zone or pvp arena (nothing before).
